Nivea supported Race for Life for the fourth successive year in 2006 as associate sponsor.

Enhancing the Race for Life experience

This year Nivea added real value to the Race for Life experience for our 750,000 participants by providing a beautifully wrapped gift for each of the 750,000 goody bags.

In addition, they provided crèche facilities for mothers taking part at 30 of the events.

Promoting health awareness

Race for Life takes place over the Summer so it is a key opportunity to promote Cancer Research UK's skin cancer campaign, SunSmart.

This year Nivea helped us to do this by providing teams of volunteers to give out bottles of SPF 15 sun lotion at every event for every one of the 750,000 participants, 400,000 supporters, and 15,000 volunteers.

Nivea's support has really helped to reinforce some of our key health messages as well as enhancing the experience of Race for Life participants.
