What will I be doing?

You will be supporting Cancer Research UK by engaging your local community to help fundraise and raise awareness of the life-saving research that you as volunteers are helping to fund. Join your local fundraising committee or help organise Relay for Life in your area. Whatever your interest and experience, you can have a real impact on connecting your local area to the work of CRUK.

Who will I be volunteering with?

Alongside other passionate volunteers in your community. There will always be support from your Local Fundraising Manager who can help you get started and along the way.

Why should I sign up?

  • Meet like-minded people who are working together to raise money for CRUK.
  • Be involved in a wide range of exciting fundraising activities and events, including Relay for Life, social events and quiz nights.
  • Contribute to your local area’s efforts for CRUK.
  • Match up your skills with your passion for making a difference to help put CRUK on the map in your area.

Where?

We have over 900 committees and local fundraising groups across the UK, simply find the one most convenient for you.

This varies depending on the role that you take on but it is usually an ongoing commitment that fits to your availability.

When can I volunteer?

Varies depending on the committee that you join, but would anticipate planning stages to be in the week, whilst events might be held at the weekend.
