This is the story of one woman's fight with bone cancer. The author believes that her religious faith helped her recover. Mary Self was diagnosed with bone cancer in 1983. After an above knee amputation and chemotherapy, her cancer seemed cured. She qualified as a doctor and had a family. In 1999 her cancer came back. She had more treatment, but her doctors weren't hopeful that the cancer would respond. She went on to beat the cancer and is convinced that her faith helped to pull her through.
