This study aims to develop a questionnaire that looks at side effects of new drugs.
As new drugs become available, researchers want to develop a questionnaire that accurately finds out about the side effects of the treatment and how it makes people feel.
In this study researchers are looking at people who are having biological therapy for either breast cancer, chronic myeloid leukaemia or gastro intestinal tumour (GIST).
The aim of this study is to develop a questionnaire that will accurately reflect the side effects and how people feel during treatment.

Who can enter
You may be able to enter this trial if you
- Are being treated with biological therapy
- Have breast cancer, chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML) or gastrointestinal tumour (GIST)
- Are at least 18 years old
You cannot enter this trial if you
- Have had any other cancer in the past
Trial design
This study will recruit up to 240 people from Europe and the UK.
Researchers tell you about the study when you see your cancer doctor. If you agree to take part they will arrange a time to interview you. This can be at your home or at the hospital. They will ask you about yourself and how the treatment has made you feel. This will take up to 25 minutes.
Researchers also want to interview people in groups of 6 or 7. This is a focus group. People in the focus group will all have the same cancer type and treatment. You will be able to discuss side effects and how the treatment has made you feel with people in the group. Researchers will explain more about how focus groups are run.
Hospital visits
You may need to go to the hospital for an extra visit if you are in a focus group.
Side effects
There are no side effects from taking part in this study. But you may find it hard to talk about your experiences. If this happens, the researcher will offer to stop the interview and continue at another time. And they will offer you further support if you would like it.
