My melanoma story
From Linda Williams
I first found out I had skin cancer 4 years ago. I had a mole on my back. My daughter noticed it (thank God). She said “Mum that mole looks weird.” I went to my doctor - she said it looked like melanoma. IT WAS.
They removed it, I had 40 stitches. Yes! For a mole. I’ve since had several small moles removed and I go to the clinic every 3 months, they check me over.
YES I WAS A SUNWORSHIPPER in my younger days (I’m only 46). I would love to hear people’s stories about skin cancer.
Thanks, Linda
