How I coped with night sweats
From Marj Waddecar
Taking Femara to shrink my breast cancer plunged me into immediate menopause. The worst symptom was the hot flushes and night sweats. The breast nurse suggested taking the Femara at night instead of morning which definitely helped.
However, the most significant strategy was buying a new mattress. The memory foam mattress was taken to the tip after I had asked visitors to sleep on it. They said it was too hot, made them sweaty all night, and they didn't get a wink of sleep! I now sleep comfortably and have a Chillow to hand for the very occasional sweat.
