Positive thinking can help
From Joanne Watts
Hello my name is Joanne and I’m 27 years old. I recently married an absolutely wonderful man and I’ve got 2 beautiful healthy children ages 1 and 2.
I’ve just been told I have cervical cancer and am waiting on the outcome of staging and then treatment. As you can imagine the news hit me like a ton of bricks. All I could think of were leaving my babies and my husband in the world, but support from all my family and friends have changed that. I have got the most enormous will to live and a reason for it.
I am thinking positively and have had even more hope at reading these kind of stories on the Cancer Research UK website. I just say to anyone who’s in the waiting game -- stay strong and be positive. It can make a whole lot of difference to your health.
I am going to take this head on and shall be back on this website to inform you of how my treatment is going. Thanks for the pick me ups when I’m having a rough ride.
