Your tips and stories

Coping with cancer

In this section, you can read about how others cope with cancer and treatment.  Who better to get tips from than someone who has already been through it all?  The section is divided into

You can also send us your tips for coping using the 'Your tips and stories' contribution form so that other people can benefit from your experiences. You can tell us how you managed treatment side effects, how you felt about it all, or how to talk to family and friends – anything you think other people may find helpful.

Please keep to a 500 word limit. We may need to edit contributions, but will not change your intended meaning. Unfortunately, we can’t publish the book you’ve written, update a contribution you sent us before, or put you in touch with other contributors. Please go to our forum Cancer Chat to talk online to other people affected by cancer.

This section is to inspire and help people coping with cancer. So, it isn’t the right place for you to remember someone close to you who has died. If you would like to create a memorial page, you can do this on Cancer Research UK's donate in memory website.
