3 monthly Zoladex side effects

I have been having Zoladex injections every 4 weeks and then my last implant was changed to a 12 week version. Will there be any more side effects?

The 12 week implant is just a slow release version of the 4 weekly drug injections you have been having. This means that you only need to have the injection once every 3 months, instead of every 4 weeks. So, soreness and any reaction you have where the injection is given will happen less often. And there should be no other extra side effects. We have detailed information about Zoladex side effects in our section about cancer drugs.
