The Bobby Moore Fund and the Professional Footballers' Association

Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) logoWe are delighted to continue working with the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) .

Since choosing to get involved with the Fund, the PFA very quickly became an enthusiastic sponsor of our International Project in South Africa.

Not only are they providing vital funds for projects in 2009 and 2010, ex-England footballers Luther Blissett and George Parris will also be attending the project in South Africa.

The PFA also support the Bobby Moore Fund by attending our events. We are very lucky to have them promoting the Fund through various channels, including their own magazine.

Gemma Davies, of the Professional Footballers' Association, says:

"The PFA is delighted to announce its charity partnership with the Bobby Moore Fund. Bobby is an icon in English football and is still a leading light for footballers today.

His tragic death from bowel cancer at such a young age was a great loss to the footballing community.

We hope that by highlighting the risks of this disease and how to prevent it, the PFA along with the Fund will be making a positive contribution to saving lives."
