The course of the Tokyo Marathon symbolizes the past, present and the future of Tokyo, and during the unforgettable 26.2 mile journey you'll have the chance to thoroughly enjoy this legendary city. The race starts in front of the impressive Tokyo Metropolitan Government building and passes through numerous famous sightseeing spots to finish at Tokyo Big Sight Convention Centre.

The standard ballot is open between July and September with results announced in November.
However, it is extremely difficult to secure a place through the ballot as an overseas runner so why not sign up NOW for one of our guaranteed places. All we ask is that you pay a £100 securement charge and then raise a minimum of £1,500 in sponsorship. You can then book your flights and accommodation independently. The Japanese Tourist Board will have flight and accommodation packages available in due course.

Although the event is full The Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK has guaranteed places available. In return for a guaranteed place we ask you to raise a minimum sponsorship of £400, and the entry fee for the event is £45. To register for a place please call 0871 641 2403 as soon as possible and have your credit or debit card ready to pay the entry fee.
There are a predicted 20,000 runners for the 2010 event in this beautiful city. To qualify to run the Boston Marathon, entrants must run a qualifying time at a certified marathon, for more information please visit the official website .
