The Manchester Sports Quiz is an energetic, yet stylish, black-tie evening. It opens with a drinks reception, then a delicious three-course dinner, followed by the action-packed Sports Quiz.

It is popular with a host of celebrities and sporting stars. Previous sports quizzes have welcomed Steve Cram MBE, Willie Thorne, Will Greenwood and Ryan Giggs to name a few.

Fireball Ltd organises this event on behalf of the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK. The event will raise profits for the Bobby Moore Fund through ticket sales before the event and fundraising activity at the event. 85% of the total event profits will go to the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK to help tackle bowel cancer. 15% of the total event profits as well as a small administration fee will be paid to Fireball for the organisation of the event. It is estimated the event will raise a minimum of £20,000 for the Bobby Moore Fund in 2008. Registered Charity No. 1089464
