Rare nervous system cancers

In this section you can find information about rare cancers that develop in the nervous system. The nervous system includes all of our nerves and the spinal cord. It relays messages to and from the brain to the whole body. It does this via the spinal cord, which runs from the brain down through the back and contains nerves that branch out to every organ and body part.

If you can’t find information here about the cancer type you are looking for, use the search box to check for information elsewhere on the website. You may also find information in the cancer types section.

There is also information about some rare nervous system tumours on the types of brain tumour page.
