Mind works throughout England and Wales to help people with experience of mental distress. It offers information on all aspects of mental health to affected people and their families.
A mental health charity providing a national telephone helpline for people coping with mental health issues, and their relatives and friends. It can give information about local care services for people with depression. SANE also has a support forum and an email support service (SANEmail) to give emotional and crisis support.
The Samaritans offer 24 hour, confidential, non judgemental emotional support. People who are stressed, in despair, or who have depression are welcome to contact them. They have local branches throughout the UK.
