This is the new venue for the rescheduled Alnwick Castle Run 10k.

The flat course is almost entirely made-up of good quality stone and tarmac paths with one fairly short stretch of grass.The run starts and finishes in Exhibition Park, with most of the course set-out around the adjoining town moor.

Thank you to everyone who entered Exhibition Park Run 10k. It was a brilliant event, which saw over 1,000 men and women come together to complete the 10k course, and raise money for Cancer Research UK's vital work.

We'd also like to thank all our volunteers, sponsors and media partners who kindly gave up their time to make the event happen – your support is really appreciated.

Remember, Run 10k isn't over until you send back your sponsorship money. This year we hope to raise £50,000 from the Exhibition Park event, so don't delay in sending yours in!
