On the day

What to expect at your Run 10k event

Your day begins by gathering with family and friends at the venue and pinning on your running numbers and back signs to your T-shirt.

You'll then join hundreds of other runners for a warm-up and enjoy the fantastic atmosphere before lining up to start the run.

Our runners range from those challenging themselves to get fit and running their first 10k, to the more experienced, who enjoy running in a supportive, fun and relaxed environment.

As you make your way around the course you have the chance to read the inspirational back signs of other runners. Many run in memory of a loved one or in celebration of someone who has survived cancer. There will be family and friends cheering you on around the course.

After the race you can add your back sign to our reflection wall and congratulate yourself on successfully completing the Run 10k and the impact that you have had by raising money for Cancer Research UK.
